A little update on some work I have been doing and some adorable desktop downloads!
This is not a traditional blog post, but I wanted to share some work that I have been doing! (Hence, my reason for being very scarce these past few weeks.)
I have been writing a few guest posts for some other blogs and I thought I would share one of them with you. I was asked to be a part of a series Alice is doing on her blog called #TuesdayTestimony: Victorious Women. If you are interested in reading it, click here and it will direct you to Alice’s page. Let me know what you think by commenting here if you end up reading it!
Side Note: Are any of you guest bloggers out there? If you want another chance, message me on my “Let’s Talk” page and I can tell you about my “Positive Posts” series. I would love to get to know some more of my readers, especially since my followers doubled this past week. (What?!?)
This guest post connected me to some cool future projects. I am now partnering up with some brands and bloggers to write a few more guest posts and start to get paid for them. (A very, very small amount, but you have to start somewhere, right?!)
I will make sure to share some of them here because many of my readers are my friends, which is why I wanted to share the good news to begin with. All of you have been my biggest fans and I owe all of the credit to you! **hugs and kisses via the internet**
Anyway, due to this “success” and all of my work being on my computer, I spend way too much time looking at my computer screen; therefore, I have started changing my desktop background like it is part of my job. If I have something cute or positive to look at while I am working, it encourages me to keep working. It’s almost like my personal cheerleader. So I thought I would pass on some great findings! (Technically, one of my besties forwarded these to me, but they were too great to keep to myself.)
These desktop backgrounds are from designlovefest. If you have never heard of them, you are seriously missing out! They put out new desktop backgrounds about every two weeks and each set usually has a theme. This set happens to be encouraging cakes! As my friend Lorraine would say, “What’s not to like?!”
Feel free to take a look at their website and let me know in the comments if you downloaded any!
Adventure Lesson Learned: I will always love all forms of cake.
