Today’s Adventure Is…New Themes, New Followers, New Seasons.

Hello, friends! Welcome back!

I feel like my blog keeps expanding without me trying! (I understand that some bloggers are probably reading this like a skinny person saying ‘I can eat whatever I want and I never gain weight,’ but it’s true and I am so thankful.)

Most of you know that this blog started out of my need for a creative outlet while I was living in Spain, while also being a way for my friends and family back home to know what was going on in my life overseas. Now, it has become so much more! Brands are reaching out for promotions. Travel websites are wanting interviews. It’s getting crazy y’all! (I’m sorry for saying ‘y’all.’ Ok, moving on.)

I want to first say thank you to all of my newbie followers!  I’m excited to get to know you and and write content that you want to see! For that matter, please leave a comment introducing yourself! (Especially you, newbies! Long timers, feel free, but I already you know of your love and support.)

Secondly, let’s address the elephant in the room…I haven’t written in a while. I own that. It’s my fault and I apologize for it, BUT I have been working on the blog! Some of you have already noticed that Adventures with Mr. C has received some pampering and got a facelift! There is now a moving cover, new menu categories to help find content easier and an overall cleaner theme. (So much new pretties!)

All of this change happened because the blog is growing and I have to grow with it. So the first step was to move my site over from to a self-hosted website, which I have officially done. If I am completely honest, this transition both excites and terrifies me. I know very little about coding and website design; however, in order for my blog to go to the next level, it needed to happen. I have already spent a stupid amount of time attempting to format pictures and content to appear the way I want them to. I know I have a lot to learn and once again with this new excitement comes a little fear.

With that being said, if you see anything that looks funny or if something is acting weird, PLEASE TELL ME! This blog is always a work in progress and during the construction of the new website, some of the transition lines might not have been connected correctly. I have tried my best to connect all of them before the launch, but alas, I am only one woman.

Anyway, I hope you like to new design. There’s so much new content coming your way soon! SOOO look out!

Adventure Lesson Learned: Growing is hard work. It’s even harder when you care about the finished product.
