I am pretty sure Mr. C and I have the same love language: tacos. You can never go wrong with tacos!
Anyway, Mr. C has been pretty swamped with homework for school and we have not spent a whole lot of time together. Therefore, there was a need for a taco date. Mr. C spotted a cool restaurant a while back and decided to give it a try.
Needless to say, in my opinion, the food was amazing. We got some guacamole to share, which was delicious. Those of you that know me well know that I love guacamole. It’s almost sad how much I like a good guac. Mr. C has a fantastic guacamole recipe; however, he hasn’t made a whole lot of it here in Spain because to purchase a few avocados, you have to pay an arm and your firstborn child.
The menu is made allow you to select different options and create your own entrée. So there is a list of about 30 different taco options and you just order how many you would like of whatever kind. It’s pretty brilliant. So, people don’t have to waste food. They just order how many tacos they would like based on how hungry they are.
Full of tacos and guac, we headed back home to our apartment. We unintentionally took a different route and walked past a Chinese shop. There are a ton of these shops in Valencia. They are basically stores that have a lot of random items that are sold at a very cheap price. Anyway, they had some little plants for sale and one happened to look like a baby Christmas tree. Mr. C immediately fell in love and I went inside to get some small decorations. So, for about 10 euros, Mr. C and I now have a little Christmas spirit in our apartment.
All in all, it turned out to be a pretty decent day for Mr. & Mrs. C.
